What is Corruption? What are the tragedies due to Corrupt Economy?

 Introduction  : The greatest tragedy of any society is that its economy is based on illicit wealth. An economy based on illicit wealth creates an atmosphere of imbalance, social inequality, selfishness, conscience, and injustice in the whole society.                                                                                                                                                  Poison of corruption : Immediately after the formation of Pakistan, unscrupulous people living here had found ways and means to get illicit wealth. Due to the early departure of Pakistan's national leaders, the reins of the country fell into the hands of those who lacked thought, foresight, and insight.

What are the tragedies due to the corrupt economy?  The culture of Making Money :The culture of making money without hard work which was born in Pakistan is unparalleled in the world. Although many sincere leaders, realizing the gravity of the problem, have made many efforts to curb corruption, all their efforts have been in vain because of the poison of corruption has permeated the veins of society as a whole. That is, it can no longer be removed.                                                                                                                                                                                                                    Corrupt Economy :  On the contrary, this poison has become an integral part of the blood flowing in the veins of society. Sociologists have long warned the nation of this serious problem. These experts say that the corrupt economy has brought down the entire social and national structure.                                                                                                                                                                                       Decline of Moral Values :  When there is an abundance of wealth in the wrong hands, moral values decline. In such a society, every individual, every conscience, and everything is valued.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      Importance of Hard Work Is Diminished :                              Where so many serious aspects of the issue come to the fore, the importance of hard work in society is diminished and almost all people become complacent, moral crimes increase, and even respect for women decreases. ۔                                                                                                                                                                              Instead of looking at a woman with respect, she is also considered a salable asset, and an attempt is made to value her as well.                                                                                                                Unscrupulous people in every institution become puppets in the hands of corrupt people. Those who earn illicit wealth get rid of all their illicit work by paying bribes. Their illicit wealth makes the eyes of every greedy and unscrupulous government employee shine.                                                                                                                                                       Illegal acts of others are done by depriving the rightful  owner of his rights. Their ill-gotten wealth is used to win elections. These people spend their wealth in elections to win over the candidates of their choice, and later make them do all kinds of illegal things.                                                                                                                                                                                                                            Economic Inequality :    In a society whose economy is based on ill-gotten wealth, there will be imbalance and economic inequality in every sector, And that's what causes the rise in crime.                                                                                                                                            Graph of Inflation :   In a corrupt society, the graph of inflation also skyrockets. Most of the capital is spent on wasteful spending and luxuries. Instead of buying the best and quality products of their country at cheap prices, imported goods of poor quality are also bought at high prices.                                                                                                                                                                             Frivolous Rituals :  Most of the wealth is spent on frivolous rituals, frivolous activities, and expensive meals in hotels.  The root cause of all the problems in Pakistan is the corrupt economy.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          Education, treatment, and justice are being sold in the country.Those who make illicit wealth are the cause of expensive education in Pakistan. Education is a key component for the development of any state or society. Every government prioritizes the education and training of its people.                                                                                                                                                       Weak Education System :  Every moment new inventions were being made, the mysteries of the universe were being revealed. Research on satellite technology was growing.                                                                                                                The direction of knowledge had completely changed but the traditional style of education was adopted in Pakistan due to which we could not adapt to the modern education system.                                                                                                                                                                                                                            We are lagging behind the rest of the world in education. Some people took advantage of this situation by setting up educational institutions in the private sector. Our education system also falls victim to class segregation. The private sector has set up educational institutions in beautiful buildings. According to a survey, 75% of corrupt people enroll their children in these expensive schools. The situation now is that only those children whose parents have very limited sources of income go to government schools. Although the education provided in these private institutions is not in line with the modern requirements, the environment looks different in these institutions as the children of the nobles are being educated.                                                                                                                                  The illicit wealth of corrupt elements has created an educational divide in society to such an extent that it is no longer possible for anyone to reduce it.                                                                                                                                                                                           The limit is that even children of some government employees are studying in very expensive schools, but they are not even asked about their sources of income. Most of the private hospitals are such that millions of rupees are received in a day.                                                                                                                                                    The majority of families seeking treatment in private hospitals belong to corrupt elements, said a member of the board of directors of a well-known hospital on Canal Road, Lahore. He said those people who are more corrupt than necessarily get their treatment from abroad.Evasion of Tax : Businessmen in the beloved homeland is said to be those who know the evasion of tax, electricity, and gas evasion by collusion.   

 

 The Way Forward : It is also necessary for national development to get rid of the monster of a corrupt economy. This is not difficult to remedy. Just ask each person how he is living a luxurious life beyond resources, whether his sources of income match his expenses or not.                                                         The solution is there, the law is there. Institutions exist, but only determination and strong will are needed.    Incumbent Prime Minister Imran Khan is well aware of the horrors of a corrupt economy, but he will only be able to root out this scourge when powerful institutions, and an independent judiciary is behind him. When the economy is reformed, national, social, and moral attitudes will improve.                                                                                                                                                                                                    Role of Media : Not everything in the market of corruption will be considered as a commodity, but in this regard, the media has a huge responsibility to regard the corrupt elements not as heroes, but as the scourge of society regardless of their profit and loss.                                                                                                                                 Corrupt elements are showing their “victory” sign in front of the media even after their arrest. People who have created national, social, moral, and economic inequalities with their illicit wealth are detestable.                                   The nation needs to show their true colors and makes them aware of the evils that arise from them.                                                                                                                                                                  History is very cruel, historians write with great cruelty about the causes of negative attitudes and decline, wealth remains here, the remembrance of history remains safe.                                      Therefore, as a nation, we need to change ourselves.❤☺✌
