Extraordinary changes in the
seasons have always had an effect on the physical conditions of the world and
then these physical conditions have also left an indelible mark on human life. This has been going on since time immemorial and
not only continues to this day, but in the future wars are being predicted for
the same water, and the circumstances and events show that these
predictions will be fulfilled. There are strong opportunities because
life is not possible without water. In countries where water is scarce, life is
not difficult. There is no indigestion, no water to drink, no food to eat.
The Natural Distribution Of Water : The natural distribution of water in the world is uneven, so there are deserts
and lush crops. Pakistan is one of the countries which, although it has a
less amount due to lack of rain all year round, Allah has blessed it with
rivers. Its northern mountains also have water reserves in the form of great
glaciers.
Water Scarcity : Yes, monsoon rains are also abundant, but we are still suffering from
water scarcity and are among the countries most at risk. Our misfortune is in
two ways. One is our neighbor India which according to Quaid-e-Azam has occupied our juggler vain i.e. Kashmir where we have the mouths of big rivers. He
stops the flow of the river whenever he wants and whenever he wants. The
floodwaters leave us destructive, falling into the Arabian Sea and wreaking
havoc, and Our enemy has used water against us
as a great weapon and is doing so.
It started wielding this weapon as soon as
Pakistan was formed and is still violating all the terms of the Indus Water
Treaty by building dams on the rivers of Pakistan and blocking their water. First, it diverted the waters of the Jhelum River to the Kishan Ganga and now its
extremist Prime Minister has ordered the diversion of Chenab water to Beas
, thus engaging in plans to make Pakistan a
godsend, Somalia and Ethiopia. The enemy is working hard, but the question is,
what are we doing? Do we have a plan to meet the needs of a growing population
or are we helping the enemy unintentionally ? It is our misfortune or shortcoming
that we are not using the available water properly. Our tragedy is that we have
not been able to reach a consensus on important national issues, nor have we
tried to find a substitute for such projects.
The current per capita water
availability in Pakistan is 950 cubic meters. The same figure was 5,500 cubic
mete rs in 1951 and if this ratio continues to decline, our situation could
become dangerously dire. All the experts are making these predictions but it is
necessary to go beyond that and take practical steps. If efforts are not made
to control the situation now, it will be difficult to
deal with problems that have arisen. Water Reservoirs :Instead of wasting time on
controversial projects at the moment, more water reservoirs will have to be
built. We have a number of naturally occurring sites that can be
been easily used to build dams, many of which can be used for both
electricity and water purposes, but we need 30 million acre-feet of water each
year. Disposal of unused water into the sea. Plans for better use of
water and fair distribution among the provinces are also not being implemented
which is leading to the destruction of fertile lands. According to a
recent report, 2.2 million acres of land in Thatta alone have been flooded. Excessive discharge
of water from Kotri Barrage in Sindh has also severely affected
a large area. If the catastrophic floodwater can be stored in dams during the
rainy season, not only will the loss of life and property be prevented. Yes,
food self-sufficiency can be achieved, but we can also get foreign exchange
from the production of our fertile lands. When the world is planning
for sustainable development and future needs, the neighboring country is
plundering our rivers and building reservoirs to oppose not only us but also
Nepal, and Bangladesh.
Water Wastage : On the one hand, clean drinking. water is not available to the common man, and on the other hand, the issue of water wastage is a matter of grave concern. Sadly, in a country where even Today, people in many villages have to walk for miles to get water, they have to go somewhere and get some water. Glaciers : We are making some of our projects
controversial and unworkable, nor are we planning new reserves. Our water
reservoirs, the Himalayan glaciers, are melting away and losing 30
to 50, meters every year. Water Reforms : Today's politicians and rulers are claiming
the rights of future generations, and still consider themselves great
leaders. We are not using the available water as it should be. Our raw canals
are not being paved, which is absorbing water in the fields instead of reaching
their destination and adding to the noisy lands. These issues that i have
mentioned are not ones that have not been pointed out before or are not known
to anyone but all are sitting with their eyes closed so that if they open their
eyes, their conscience will not wake up.
If we reduce our non-development
expenditure and focus on these real problems of our country, we will end the
political turmoil and focus our energies on our development. Conclusion : Recently, I saw
a video on YouTube which showed how in 2050 people will secretly keep
water in lockers and thieves will steal water leaving money and gold behind.
The video was fun to watch, but if we continue to use water at the same rate,
the day is not far When are we going to watch this day. Water is
a very important nutrient of human life. Rather, it would
not be wrong to say that water is life, because out of the
millions of planets and stars discovered so far, our Earth is the only planet
where life flowing in a full swing, and the only
reason for this is water.
To deal with this, heavy fines should be imposed on those
industries which are constantly bent on wasting water indiscriminately. ❤✌☺☝👉👈👈❤
